By downloading or using RogueMate you agree to these terms.
RogueMate is distributed through the App Store and licensed under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). The terms on this page supplement it. If the two conflict, the provisions of Apple’s Standard EULA that give you broader rights prevail.
You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use RogueMate for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules (including Family Sharing). The app is licensed, not sold, to you.
You agree not to:
You are welcome to share seed codes, screenshots and gameplay videos.
RogueMate’s name, code, pixel art, characters (including the bosses), music, sounds and text belong to the developer or are used under license. The fonts (Pixelify Sans, Rubik) are used under the SIL Open Font License and open-source libraries under their own licenses; see the in-game Credits screen. The rules of chess and the names of the pieces belong to no one.
RogueMate is a one-time purchase with no ads and no in-app purchases. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund: reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your progress is stored only on your device. Deleting the app, resetting the device or switching devices may cause your progress to be lost. We cannot restore lost progress. See the Privacy Policy for details.
We may update the game and change its content and balance. An update may make an older save impossible to open; we try to avoid this but cannot guarantee it.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no express or implied warranty is given that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or work on every device. Game Center is an Apple service; Apple is responsible for its availability and content.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer’s total liability arising from the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect damages or for loss of data or progress. Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be limited by law or any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Türkiye have jurisdiction over disputes. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
If we change these terms, we will publish the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
