RogueMate is a single-player chess roguelike sold as a one-time purchase. We don’t collect personal data, we don’t show ads and we don’t track anyone. This page explains the details.

Data we collect

None. RogueMate does not collect, store, sell or share personal data. The game has no server and sends no data to us.

Data that stays on your device

To work, the game keeps the following only on your device:

  • Your current run (Stage, Round, lives, money, army, gambits, seed)
  • Your History and Collection records and the difficulty levels you have unlocked
  • Your settings (sound, music, haptics, language, animation speed, move input, etc.)

This data lives in the device’s local storage (AsyncStorage). It is never sent to us or to anyone else. If you delete the app, this data is deleted too and cannot be recovered.

What we don’t use

  • No analytics or usage statistics
  • No crash or error reporting service
  • No ads and no advertising identifier (IDFA)
  • No tracking across apps or websites
  • No account or sign-in; we never ask for your email, name, age, location, contacts, camera or microphone
  • No third-party SDKs that collect data
  • No in-app purchases

Game Center (optional)

The Daily Seed leaderboard uses Apple’s Game Center. Game Center is optional; the game is fully playable without it.

  • If you are signed in to Game Center, the game sends only your Daily Seed run score (a single integer) to Game Center.
  • Your Game Center nickname, avatar and score are processed by Apple and shown to other players on the leaderboard. This is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.
  • None of this reaches a server of ours; we do not collect or store it.
  • You can turn Game Center off in iPhone Settings → Game Center.

Other device features

  • Clipboard: “Copy seed” and “Paste seed” use the clipboard only when you tap them; the content never leaves your device.
  • Rating prompt: The game may occasionally show Apple’s own rating prompt. Apple manages it; no data comes to us.
  • Haptics and sound: These run only on your device and can be turned off in Settings.

Children

RogueMate is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, including children. Game Center accounts and settings are managed with Apple’s family and parental control tools.

Your rights

Because we collect no data from you, we hold no personal data to access, correct or delete. You can remove the game data on your device by deleting the app. For your Game Center data, contact Apple. Feel free to write to us with any question.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the updated version on this page with a new effective date. If a feature that collects data is ever added, we will state it clearly on this page and on the App Store page beforehand.
